Here the students are getting their books and going to tables in order to pick the book they want to "publish".
Commentary
I think it's interesting to see here how kindergarten students need help simply moving from place to place in the room. Some of the students are confused about where to go and need my guidance to help them. I also purposely dismissed them to the tables by their color groups to avoid a big traffic jam at the book boxes.
You can see how I have the students' book boxes above their cubbies to allow access to them. These book boxes are where they keep their finished books (although this isn't always the case.) They also have writing folders to keep the writing that they have not finished.
