Here students share their stories with each other. I ask students to sit on their folders when it's not their turn to share so that their own books won't get in the way of their ability to listen.
I really like the manner in which all the students are really engaged and excited about sharing their books. There's a lot of good oral language practice happening here in both languages. Because students are so content-focused at this age, it's difficult to get them to focus on why they picked that particular book. I like how Eucrely remembered at the end of her sharing time to say that she picked her book because it has good color.

| S5: | I forgot to put estrella (star) on this! This is the most spookiest house in the whole wide world! Halloween. This is a fake one. Then, we heard a bat go "Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!" |
| Interviewer: | Can you hold it up? Can I see? |
| S5: | We heard a bat go "Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!" And then we heard, and by then, we saw, an oso (bear), and then we went up to the house. We wanted to see what is in there. We opened the door. And it was a GHOST! And then... |
| Int: | Can we see the ghost? Can you show us the ghost? |
| S5: | (pointing) And then, it was ALL imaginary! |

A happy star, when I went to see my daddy, and my mama took a picture of me at my daddy's work. And here is the house. |
